The Sky on Fire is a standalone fantasy adventure. In a world ruled by dragons and their riders, Anahrod lives only for survival, preferring to thrive in the jungles of the Deep. When an adventuring party saves her from capture by the local warlord, she is eager to return to her solitary life, but this is no ordinary rescue. Anahrod's past has caught up with her. And these cunning misfits intend to spirit her away to the cloud cities, where they need her help to steal from a dragon’s hoard.

Sophie Robinson comments: ‘There’s nothing I love more in epic fantasy than a band of misfits planning a heist and The Sky on Fire has the very best of them. Who wouldn’t want to steal a dragon hoard with a poet and an alchemist? Full of high-stakes intrigue, page-turning adventure and simmering heat, this is your next favourite dragon read.’

Tor UK will publish The Sky on Fire in hardback and other formats on 9th July 2024.

About the author
Jenn Lyons lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her husband, three cats, and a lot of opinions on anything from the Sumerian creation myths to the correct way to make a martini. At various points in her life, she has wanted to be an archaeologist, anthropologist, architect, diamond cutter, fashion illustrator, graphic designer, or Batman. Turning from such obvious trades, she is now a video game producer by day, and spends her evenings world building and writing fantasy. When not writing, she can be found using any of her various fountain pens at several local coffee shops.
