The cover of Pope Francis' first book, The Name of God is Mercy, has been revealed today.
Pope Francis' first book, The Name of God is Mercy, will be published worldwide on 12th January 2016 to mark the occasion of the 2016 Jubilee Year of Mercy.
The Pope has personally handwritten the type for the six book covers of the Italian, English, French, German, Spanish and Portuguese editions – which are revealed today for the very first time.
For the first time, Pope Francis addresses the world in a deep, simple and intimate dialogue. Drawing on his own experience as a priest and shepherd, the pope talks to Vatican expert Andrea Tornielli about Mercy, a subject of central importance in his teaching and testimony.
